We want to ensure that every ATM surround and signage solution portrays your brand as it is intended.
Companion Systems prefers to receive digital artwork via electronic transfer or storage media to generate your ATM signage.
All artwork exchanged electronically should be of the highest quality possible. While .jpg and .gif formats are usable, they are designed to have a small file size for fast delivery via email. Typically, their quality is not sufficient for quality reproduction. Bitmap files are typically larger and not as highly compressed, allowing for better reproduction. However, simply converting an already compressed graphic to a different format will not increase the quality.
For this reason we recommend that you create your artwork using a vector-based program such as Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw. We also recommend the following file types and conversion processes:
- EPS with all fonts converted to outlines or curves
- CDR with text as curves and graphics as vector images
- AI Adobe Illustrator native format with fonts embedded
In addition, we can accept uncompressed files of the following types for pixel-based artwork only (such as photographs): .BMP, .TIF, .PDF, .JPG, .GIF.
We also request that you submit a color proof or call out specific PMS colors in your artwork, especially when supplying a file type other than those on the recommended file type list. A proof will provide us with a comparison against which to verify that no problems have occurred in transferring your file to our system.
We will be happy to answer any questions that you may have in generating an ATM signage artwork file that will easily be reproduced to match the same quality and accuracy that you intend.
